FACE PROCEDURES

Chin Surgery Chin Surgery Boston

Chin surgery is a cosmetic (dermal fillers) or surgical (implant, mentoplasty or genioplasty) procedure that can reshape your chin, adding symmetry and balance to the contours of your chin, jawline, and neck and give you a more graceful and refined appearance.

Craniofacial Surgery Craniofacial Surgery Boston

Facial Trauma can result in open wounds, broken bones, scars, or facial asymmetry. Reconstruction requires meticulous repair of all injured structures by an experienced surgeon. Dr. Taylor and Dr. Sullivan are both fellowship trained in Craniomaxillofacial Surgery and are former co-directors of the Division of Craniofacial Surgery at Brown University.

Ear Surgery Ear Surgery Boston

Ears normally have a delicate and refined appearance with standard folds and creases. Sometimes, people are born with no ears, malformed ears, or ears that are too prominent, too large, or stick out. Dr. Taylor and Dr. Sullivan can create a normal appearing ear with less prominence through incisions hidden behind the ear.

Eyelid Lift Blepharoplasty Eyelid Lift (Blepharoplasty) Boston

Eyelid Surgery, also know as blepharoplasty, is one of the most effective techniques for facial rejuvenation. Drooping, sagging, and puffy eyelids are one of the first signs of facial aging, and also the first area others notice when having a conversation and making eye contact. Connecting with others happens with our eyes.

Facial Implants Facial Implants Boston

A facial implant is a surgical procedure that enhances specific features of your face, cheek, chin, and jaw by installing synthetic materials deep under the subcutaneous tissue and onto the underlying bone. The implant is made of a material that is compatible with human tissues and designed to alter and tighten your skin and accentuate areas of the cheeks, chin, nose, and lower jaw.

Face Lift Necklift / Facelift Boston

As we age, the skin on our face loses elasticity and collagen, leading to wrinkles, fine lines, and sagging skin. The underlying facial muscles also weaken, causing the skin to sag and fat deposits to shift or diminish, resulting in hollow areas, bags under the eyes, and jowls. As a result, it becomes harder and harder for diet and exercise alone to keep our skin looking the way we want it.

Neck Lift Necklift / Facelift Boston

As we age, our faces undergo many changes, including the loss of skin elasticity and volume, the formation of wrinkles and fine lines, and the development of sagging skin in areas like the neck and eyelids. These changes can make us appear older and more tired than we feel. However, with modern cosmetic procedures like a neck lift, it’s possible to reverse some of the signs of aging and achieve a refreshed and youthful appearance.

Fat Transfer Facial Fat Transfer Boston

Facial fullness between the cheek bones and lips provides a youthful appearance. Volume loss in this area and the facial compartments accentuates grooves such as the nasolabial folds and marionette lines and results in a concave facial contour. These areas can be rejuvenated and facial volume restored with autologous fat grafting or fat transfer.

Rhinoplasty Rhinoplasty Boston

The nose is the centerpiece of the face, contains complex structures and anatomy, and must be properly aligned for normal breathing. The nose is the most frequently broken facial bone. Many of us can remember being struck in the nose during playtime or activities as child and suffering some pain as well as a bloody nose.

Lip LiftLip Lift

With a surgical lip lift, you can have it all. This simple, outpatient, minor surgical procedure can give your lips a boost without the endless maintenance appointments that come with other methods. If a patient has a lot of space between their top lip and nose, fillers may just make the lips seem heavy and weighed down.

Keloid Scar RemovalKeloid Scar Removal

Ear piercings can sometimes develop into large scars, known as a keloid. The scars can grow quite large like a tumor. Ear keloid scars can be treated with steroids and surgical removal. Dr. Taylor and Dr. Sullivan use a Dermojet (no needles!) to instill steroids into the keloid. Over time, the keloid can soften and flatten and then be removed to restore the natural appearance of the earlobe. Repeat treatments with steroids can help decrease the chance that a keloid returns.

Earlobe RepairKeloid Scar Removal

Earlobes can split due to trauma, slow migration of earrings, or dilation of earlobes with ear gauges. Recruits for military, police, and other jobs may be required to have dilated earlobes repaired. Fortunately, these changes can be carefully repaired to restore the normal fullness and curve of the earlobe.
